Operating Instructions
Important Safety Information
Before using the jump start cable, please observe the following precautions:
- To protect the motorcycle electronics, do not run the engine of the donor motorcycle during the jump-start procedure.
- If equipped with an ignition switch, ensure it is switched OFF before connecting the cables.
- Prevent the contacts from touching each other to avoid short circuits.
- The terminals are designed specifically for connection to 8 mm or 10 mm hex-head bolts and should only be used for this purpose.
- During extended starting attempts, allow the cables to cool if they become excessively warm.
Jump-Start Procedure
- Connect the positive (+) terminal of the donor motorcycle to the positive (+) terminal of the motorcycle being started.
- Connect the negative (-) terminal of the donor motorcycle to the negative (-) terminal of the motorcycle being started.
- Start the recipient motorcycle.
- Disconnect the negative (-) connection.
- Disconnect the positive (+) connection.
Storage Warning
When storing the jump start cable, ensure that the contacts cannot come into contact with battery terminals or other electrical connections. Accidental short circuits may cause vehicle damage, overheating, or fire.
